At Zesty we are always working to build on the success we've found in our efficient approach to creating marketing websites. We're excited to announce that we are launching a private beta of Parsley 2, an update version of our powerful templating language.
New Features
Parsley 2 has a number of upgrades and sets the stage for new features. Here's a few of them:
- Better debugging workflow
- More resiliency and graceful failures from syntax errors
- A new query builder
- Tools for outputting content as JSON
The New Parsley 2 Debugger
One revolutionary change brought with Parsley 2 is the new code debugger. When you save a parsley file in Zesty, it will automatically list errors in the file or even in an include within that file. Links can be clicked to jump to a line or to another file instantly.
Updated Parsley Playground
A new version of the Interactive Parsley Playground (REPL) has been started on https://parsley.zesty.io/ and has the majority of the same lessons already available.
Developer Documentation
Updated documentation for developers is in the works and will be available soon on https://developer.zesty.io/.
